Small group personal training · Chandler’s Ford
Fitter, stronger and more confident — coached, not left to it.
A private studio where every session is coached, capped at six people, and written on the board before you arrive. Most of our members are over 40 and hadn’t trained in years. Consistency is the thing we fix.
What DMF is
Personal training attention.
Small group energy.
A coach who knows your name, your assessment and your dodgy knee — and five other people in your corner. We meet you exactly where you are: brand new, back after years off, or training already and stuck. Then we move you further than you thought possible.
- Coached, always. A coach watches every rep of every session. Nobody is handed a barbell and left to it.
- Six people, max. Personal-training attention with other people in your corner.
- Nutrition that fits your life. A reasonable ask, not a meal plan. No food is off limits.
- Measured, not guessed. InBody scans and MyZone so progress is a number, not a feeling.

How a session works
One board.
Six people.
Six different sessions.
When you walk in, the session is on the central board. Your version of it is built around your assessment, your goals and whatever your body’s telling us that week. The person next to you might be on their first month; the person opposite might have been here three years. Same board, different loads, same coach watching all six.
There are two boards, actually. The other one has the wins on it. It’s the one we care about.

Where everyone starts
Ignite30: thirty days to find out
Eight coached small-group sessions in 30 days, a movement assessment, an InBody scan, nutrition coaching and weekly check-ins. £169, no commitment after. It exists so you can decide from the inside whether this is your kind of place — not from a brochure.
Tour, how it works, movement assessment.
InBody: body composition, not just weight.
Sessions two a week, scaled to you.
Nutrition tweaks, first win usually here.
Re-scan. Stay, or leave fitter. No pressure.

Real members
Their words. Their numbers.

I had soooo many reservations but got to a point where I just needed to put my big girl pants on and do something. Traditional gym environments don’t work for me as I’m not self motivated and don’t know what I’m doing.
For the first time ever I actually want to be active, so it’s now an ingrained part of my lifestyle.

The bit between the sessions
We don’t just train.
Hikes. The Wolf Run team. Bootcamp and brunch. Biggest Loser rounds where half the gym quietly compete. Summer Games, the Christmas party, the Romsey relay. None of it’s in the inclusions list, because you can’t sell it — but it’s why a small gym in Chandler’s Ford has 150-odd members who know each other’s names, and why the Tuesday-in-the-rain session gets done.
“The camaraderie in the gym is VERY special. Every time my wife asks ‘how was the gym’ I beam and say ‘awesome… hard but awesome’!”
